Prayer: The Blog Series- Introduction

Well, the Kerdos blog has finally come of age because we’re beginning our first blog series!  Over the next few days, we’ll be doing a series of posts on the prayers in the New Testament.  Obviously, with a limited number of Sunday Mornings in a summer, it’s not possible to preach through all of the prayers found in the New Testament.  So, we’re going to post them for you here in four installments.

Our heart behind this is that we want these prayers to be a resource for you in your own prayer life.  Take time to memorize these and pray through some or all of them in your own prayer life over the summer.  A common challenge for us all at times is to find words when we’re praying.  It probably wouldn’t hurt us to have some of Jesus’ and the Apostle’s prayers memorized so what when we come before God’s presence in prayer, we are praying in a way that honors Him, changes us and is God’s instrument to bring about change in the world.

So stay tuned over the next few days…
