Earlier this week I came across this, which made me wonder if the internet had any redemptive value whatsoever. The webs only use seemed to be the rapid dispersion of kitsch amongst total strangers. After coming across this post earlier today, I’ve changed my mind. That post is a letter that a mom (a total stranger to me) is writing to her two young daughters telling them why her and their father are adopting another child, even though it will hurt their ability to pay for college. Most of us aren’t parents right now. Many of us will be one someday, but not all of us. No matter what category you fall into, it is still worth reading because we all need reminders to “seek first the kingdom” (regardless of whether or not they come to us from strangers across the internet).
My name is Drew Hunter. I’m rescued by Jesus, married to Christina, raising three rascals, and preaching the gospel at Zionsville Fellowship in Zionsville, Indiana.
This blog exists to further the cause of gospel renewal in our lives.
