Doing Things… In Light of the Gospel for the Glory of Christ

Ever wonder what you should do with your life?  What should you do this summer?  What is God’s will for the next 5 years?  If you’ve been a Christian for any length of time, you’ve probably asked these questions.  Asking the question is a good thing.  Ephesians 5:17 says, “Do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”  But what do we mean by ‘the will of the Lord’ and how do we understand what it is?  We tried to answer these questions at our Kerdos meeting Sunday morning.  Answering these questions is one thing, but it’s another thing to answer the 50 other questions that can rise to the surface when we think about this topic.

In addition to talking about this over the Bible in community with each other, you may be interested in reading a short book (about a 2 hour read) that was recommended on Sunday: Just Do Something by Kevin DeYoung.
