Here’s an important video by Darrin Patrick for men:

Neil Postman wrote, “the loss of a sense of strange is a sign of adjustment” (Amusing ourselves to Death, 79-80).  He’s referring to how we no longer view the world as it’s presented on TV as strange.  When we are confronted with something that should be seen as thoroughly strange and yet accept it as normal, we’ve adjusted.  The idea also applies here as well.  The loss of a sense that men have a specific calling as men is a sign of adjustment.  This video has the power to sneak up on us and expose this.
